Even The New York Times Is Scared To Death Of Islam

Citing fear for the safety and lives of our troops fighting in Afghanistan, the New York Times, has decided, at least temporarily, to reject a Pam Geller cartoon which may or may not depict Islam negatively.  The NYT, which is a liberal and “open-minded” newspaper when it comes to bashing Republicans, conservatives, Christians and other religious faiths, continues to give pause when it comes to Islam.  Now, in comedy, there is always a pause, after which comes the punchline.  For the NYT, however, the pause is just their way of admitting cowardice.  For, the NYT fears Islam and the Muslims who practice it.  The NYT knows how unstable, how erratic, how out of their minds Muslims are, and become, any time they feel their religion is being assaulted.

This is the Islamic cartoon that didn’t make the cut (yet) at the NYT:

Now what the hell is controversial about that?  And why would Muslims go on a killing spree if it was published in the NYT?  After-all, the NYT has no problem with publishing this cartoon:

You know why?  Because Bill Donahue would never declare a Catholic Jihad against the New York Times or put a fatwa on its staff.  With the exception of Islam, every other religion is free for the NYT to mock, ridicule and harass without having to worry about violent retaliating.

Pam Geller needs to do another cartoon entitled “It’s time to quit the NYT”.  She ought to put up a picture of the newspaper’s front page – the New York Times in big bold letters – with the caption “All the outrage”; followed in the middle by an arrow pointing to the U.S. Constitution (honing in on the first amendment) with the caption “Over this?”; followed by the female standing with her arms crossed with the caption “Is hard for anyone to swallow”.

The New York Times rejected the cartoon because even it, and its staff, are scared to death of the religion of  “peace”.  But the NYT is not scared to death of Christianity, nor is it scared to death of Catholics, Jews, Mormons, Quakers, Shakers, Mennonites, etc.  Would someone at the NYT be so kind as to answer – why?  The answer, although obvious, is probably to embarrassing for the NYT to admit.

Not only is it “time to quit Islam”, it is time to quit kidding ourselves about this religion.  It is far from “peaceful”.  And either its members, which makes up about 1 and 1/2 billion people world wide, needs to grow up or they all need to go away.  The world does not need the kind of religion Islam is peddling, if all Islam is really about is slaughtering people it considers “infidels”, and subjecting its own women and girls on a real war on women.

And while Islam could be a true religion of peace, that is up to its current flock.  For those of you who are Muslim – what say you?  Peace?  Or – ???
